Riding With the Valkyries

Through leaden sky we ride
On wings of Wotan's might,
Through the sullen murky sea
Of dark and stormy night.

Flee, oh flee, you wretched worms,
Return unto the bowels of earth,
For wrathful is great Warfather
And our will shall avenge.
Lightning dances upon our spears.
Our foes will fly or turn to ash.
Beware, proud one, on baleful night,
When wind and rain swallow the stars.
For the great shall rise to Valhala,
And the weak shall fall to Hel.
And Wotan's wrath shall smite his foes,
And woe to them who stand!

Through leaden sky we ride
On wings of Wotan's might,
Through the sullen murky sea
Of dark and stormy night.
